Kit Tarka Foundation worked to prevent newborn baby deaths primarily through raising awareness of neonatal herpes, funding research and providing advice for healthcare professionals and the general public.

 

In 2022 we made the difficult decision to wind down Kit Tarka Foundation but are delighted to be leaving the neonatal herpes awareness and infection prevention work in the capable hands of The Lullaby Trust, a baby charity that saves babies’ lives and supports bereaved families. Find out more about them here and visit their infection prevention guidance here.
