Splash for Kit cannot happen yet due to Covid-19 restrictions but it will be held when swimming lessons are back to normal. Little Dippers or the Little Swim School will let you know when we have a new date.
SPLASH FOR KIT 2021
We are delighted that Little Dippers and the Little Swim School are hosting Splash for Kit a new event for 2021!
Splash for Kit is a sponsored splash taking place in Little Dippers and The Little Swim School classes. All the babies and toddlers will be invited to come to their swimming lesson in pyjamas and undertake a splash based challenge set by their teachers.
The little ones will be splashing to save the lives of babies so it will be an extra special day for them and their families.
We can't wait to see the little otters in action!

A huge thank you for joining in with Splash for Kit 2021. We are really excited about this new fundraising event which will help raise much needed awareness of the dangers of the cold sore virus in babies as well as the funds we need to continue our training, research and education work.
Dates
Splash for Kit will take place in your child's usual class in the week at a date to be confirmed when restrictions are lifted.
Sponsorship

The best way for your child to get sponsorship is for you to create an online fundraising page. It is very simple. Go to bit.ly/splashforkit2020eventhub and click on 'Start fundraising' then follow instructions to set up your child's fundraising page which will be linked to this event. When it asks you what you are doing to raise money, type in 'Splash for Kit 2021' and all the event details will be completed for you.

You can send the link to friends, colleagues and family for them to sponsor your child online.

Alternatively people can contribute to the event directly at the same link but please note we won't be able to trace the donations to individuals children so unfortunately we will not be able to award prizes other than certificates which will be available on the day.

Prizes
We are asking all mini splashers to raise at least £1 and there are some great prizes on offer for raising more*:

About the brilliant Swim for Kit hosts
We are incredibly grateful to Little Dippers and The Little Swim School for hosting Swim for Kit; without them it would not be possible. All babies and toddlers must be enrolled in one of their classes at the time of Splash for Kit in order to take part.
As one of the first baby swim schools in the UK we have been developing and innovating the little dippers' programme for over 25 years. Our aim is to teach young babies key water safety techniques in a way that is both fun and nurturing.
As well as great exercise for your baby building stronger heart and lungs, it can also aid in their cognitive development and improved eating and sleeping patterns. And, as one of the first activities you can do with your new baby it is also the perfect opportunity to spend some special bonding time with your baby while giving them an invaluable skill for life.
Classes take place in our lovely private warm water purpose built baby swim centre in Brighton. We keep classes small with a maximum of 7 babies in a class to maintain a calm and relaxed environment for both parent and baby.
